OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE IS RECOVERY FROM UNDEREARNING
This site is hosted by the trustees elected by the majority of the Groups represented in UA World Service.
We, the UA WSC Elected Trustees serve unity and the group conscience of the global fellowship.
We hold our number one role to be supporting the safe space where all can find recovery from underearning and underbeing free from disruption, dominance or governance.
Underearners Anonymous
Underearners Anonymous is a Twelve Step Fellowship of people who have come together to help themselves and one another recover from underearning.
Underearning is many things, not all of which are about money. While the most visible consequence is the inability to provide for one’s needs, including future needs, underearning is also about the inability to fully acknowledge and express our capabilities and competencies. It is about underachieving, or under-being, no matter how much money we make.
The Tools of UA include, and reinforce, the tried and true tools of recovery provided by the Twelve Steps. Members of UA also utilize additional Tools – both individually and with partners – to support taking action that will create lives that are full, prosperous, and grounded in serenity.
If you’re visiting our website for the first time, we suggest you explore the Newcomers page, beginning with the piece entitled, About UA. All materials are available for download and printing.
We are all UA
To suppport our safe space:
- Donations can be made to the unity fund (at paypal.com using the email address weareallua@gmail.com). This fund pays for the tools that help us connect with one another to support recovery from underearning. This includes our virtual monthly meeting space, web hosting and hopefully soon, translation and other tools that can better unite us in service to our primary purpose.
- Members and groups as needed in so far as that action expands the safety of us all. The hope is that a peaceful transition can still be achieved. In that event, we would spend a majority of the money raised to revise the bylaws to protect the future sanctity of our recovery space, and secondly, to restore funds to the ravaged World Service Conference and WSC scholarship funds.
